After 6 days of "torture"...

Oh I'm back to blog again already. Ha ha. Just back from tekong after two weeks there. Its like confinement week repeating itself but its worst this time because of the 6 days of field camp. I cant really tell the details but sleeping with bugs, rain and without shelter is not fun at all. The soil was not even even and we still need to protect our rifle from being 'stunned' or stolen by the commanders. Therefore we have to be alert secure it properly and wake up every time to ensure that our rifle is still there. Being outfield is totally different from being in structures. No readily available water source, no shelter over our head from elements of nature and most importantly no light! Light is really very important to us as without light our world cannot survive night fall. Doing things is nearly impossible as all of us depend on 'light' too much in our society. Using the moon light for daily chores like packing your bag, walking around or even tying your shoe laces is difficult. But in the army they really trained us to do these stuff. Although all of us still couldn't really get use to it but at least we make the effort to learn and sleep out there. Training was quite tough at times but not as tough as i imagined it to be. Next week i have 3 more days of out field. T.TThese days not feeling well when my birthday is round the corner!! Sore throat, flu, cough and fever. Its always like a package coming to me when i start to cough. Mild flu is normal for me but when i start to cough its not a good sign. Oh i lost 1 kg from the field camp. Torture~ Just kidding as we cannot eat normal food like our daily routines we have food ration. They are not as disgusting as people claim. Its quite nice actually. =X But too much of something is not good. Fresh food is still better. Okays enough of NS experiences and back to my sickness. I feel so bad and coughing every few minutes. Tomorrow i should be going out with my poly mates to celebrate my birthday. After that celebrating with yan hong they all on the 22nd of Nov. Its late but i am joining the celebration with fanny too since everyone is busy. Maybe i will meet my buddies next week for the celebration and go try Red Alert 3 at the LAN shop. Guys are still guys. Playing computer games will still always be a part of our lives. I feel like changing a new computer!! Diablo 3!! But nowadays the economy is not that strong because of that bank stuff. So i was actually contemplating if i should sign on in the army. Since the pay is standard and the benefits are quite alot. But that would mean losing my 'freedom' as there are really alot of rules in the army. And there goes my hope of finding a girlfriend if i sign on. I shall really think about it. Anyways i shall go rest abit and blog more soon. Advance happy birthday to myself! Twentieth Birthday. =D |
