Happy New Year!! 09' LOH~ Yay!! It's 09' already. Bye 08'. Wow last year really passed very fast and so many events had happened which includes my graduation from polytechnic, my national service and many many more like my two overseas trips with my buddies to hk/zhen zhen and then malaysia. Firstly i shall look at my resolutions from last year. Get a cumulative gpa of 3.0 at the end of my polytechnic education. (Failed. I got 2.96 only!) Score well for my major project and my last 2 modules. (Passed. I got 1 A and 2 B+'s.) Everyone to be happy! =) (Failed. It's an impossible wish.) Improve my relationship with my family. (Passed. But can be better.) Good health for friends and family. (Passed.) Get slimmer and fitter. (Passed. Army has trained me well. But I'm getting fatter again!) Strike top prize in toto (Failed. Haven't yet! Only won $90 once.) Go overseas holiday with friends after graduating (Passed. Went HK/Shen zhen and Genting.) Have fun in national service (Passed. I have finished my BMT and now in SISPEC.) Get to know more friends~ =) (Passed. Tons of army friends.) Results is 7/10 so it's 70%. Not bad not bad. Have A already. Haha! At that point of time every one's like stressed up about major project and the modules we have. Thus, the resolutions were quite results orientated which also includes my uncertainty about army life. However I'm glad that most of them were being fulfilled and the failed ones are those impossible to attain targets. This year i shall have 10 more 09' new year resolutions to fulfill for the coming year. 1) Find a girlfriend before my 21st birthday. 2) Being safe during my entire army life. 3) Receiving wonderful postings from the army. 4) Get my driving licence. 5) Hopefully get a place in a university. 6) Strike TOTO or Singapore Sweep. 7) Friends and family to be healthy and happy. 8) Overseas trip(s). 9) Get fitter and slimmer. 10) Economy gets better. Ta da~ 10 new year resolutions for the year. No. 1 should be quite hard as I'm in the army. HOPEFULLY~ No. 2 is very very important as the army is really quite dangerous and any lapse of concentration during training may hurt ourselves. No. 3 is also important as it will determine my life in the army for the next 1 year and a half. No. 4 is something that i will try to attain if i have the time. Army schedule is hectic and having the time to learn driving is hard. No. 5 is something that i will try this Jan or Feb for the NUS and SMU. if both are not possible i will turn to other universities like SIM or other private universities. No. 6 will be my permanent wish for all the years as money is important. No. 7 is hard to achieve especially the 'happy' part. Nevertheless I will still believe in it. No. 8 will include taiwan or thailand on my list. Haha! I shall save money first. No. 9 is something that is hard as i have started to grow fatter now! OMG~ No. 10 is critical as the economy will affect everything in the world. Hopefully it doesn't get very bad or many things will be inflated. Okays done done done. I havent blog for quite awhile already ever since i went into SISPEC. And i noticed my archieves have some missing months which my blog is dead. So this year i shall make an effort of at least blogging once a month. Haha! I haven't really got used to the new army life style there and its very very far from my home!! Although i have left about 6 weeks, i hope that i will pass out safely and being posted to some nice unit. The people in my bunk are really nice and every night we will try to talk among ourselves even after lights out. Haha! Disturb people sleeping only. There are also so many tests to study too which makes it quite sian as we need to pass all of them. Yestereday went out for count down at esplanade. The last count down was like at 05'? So long ago.. Haha! Before that went to ashton's for dinner and watched ip man again at the grand cathay. After that went to the esplanade to wait for the fireworks. The fireworks were very nice!! Woooo~ 'Bom.. Bomm..' I like the falling star like fireworks!! They shot so many of that for the ending part. Woots~ Apart from that i also loved my purple coloured fireworks. Yay! Haha. Although its only like 10mins but I think its worth the wait. Singapore should have more fireworks!! Haha. The crowd was like madness as there were so many them which makes it hard for us to go home. My handphone was like so sucky la. Kns~ Stupid starhub. Haha. Thanks for watching the fireworks with me. =) Okays later i still have to report back to camp at 2130. SIANX!! It's new year lei! Kns.. Oh well.. I shall rest awhile first before i report back to camp. HAO LEI AH~ |
